I love being creative and coming up with cool and different fashion concepts for magazine publications. When I come up with a concept that requires bigs authentic smiles I always think of Mary Elin whose a model represented by Angie’s models. Mary Elin is so much fun to work with and is always down to try different styles of modelling. We have done 1950s & 1920s fashion together so why not add 1980s to the mix.

Fatima, the amazing Ottawa based makeup and hair stylist, created this look for Mary Elin. I was so happy when I saw the look complete when Mary Elin arrived. Mary Elin supplied the clothing (what a team player). We had a lot of fun listening to 80s music and creating these portraits. I also had Kelsie, my coop student, assist the shoot. It is always amazing when you have a second pair of eyes and hands on set.
