Happy Mother’s Day! What better way to celebrate Mother’s Day than by sharing a recent shoot I did with soon to be mom and Toronto model, Cassandra. I am excited to share these, because this shoot was so much fun to photograph.

Cassandra came to my studio makeup and hair ready. I would like to give a shoutout to the amazing styling team for their beautiful work. Cassandra had her makeup done by the talented Genn whose business name is Waring Makeup. Cassandra’s hair was done by Caroline Schmitz. Cassandra wanted a bedroom-based boudoir maternity shoot so we started with her laying and sitting on the bed as comfortably as possible. I loved that she matched her eye makeup with her lingerie set. It’s adorable.

We used only natural light and had our photoshoot around noon so the natural light was strongest for these portraits. Cassandra did an amazing job. Hardly a surprise given her modeling background – this was not her first photoshoot!
