14 Sep Orange Fashion with Melanie
I love the colour orange. It’s very in fashion at the moment. I know this because I am a contributor to stock photography as a side job and they needed photos with the colour orange for the month of July. Orange was one of the most searched words on the stock photography platforms and I can understand why. It’s has so much energy and vibrance who wouldn’t love orange. Fall is around the corner so I am sure there will be lots more orange in your future.
Melanie, a local model in Ottawa, and I planned a whole shoot around the colour orange. We walked around downtown for a couple of hours to see how many amazing portraits we could take together and it was a lot of fun. Melanie bought a full orange outfit and got so many compliments by people passing by. It was nice to see. She also did her own makeup and hair for this session. She rocks!
We did a lot of photos on the roof of the Rideau Centre. It is one of the hidden gems of Ottawa. There is even a restaurant on top of there. You never know where you will get hungry.
There was a metal bench that’s surrounded by ivy near the National Art Centre. I love how orange really pops with the colour green.
I loved that it was a cloudy day and I was able to capture the clouds in Melanie’s glasses. Super cool!
